Trim Lamba is a British-Indian writer-director based in London working across Film and Television. 

His first short ‘CRACKED SCREEN’ released in 2017 to multiple prizes and recognition including longlisting for a BIFA for Best British Short; selection for the 27th Saatchi and Saatchi New Directors Showcase in Cannes Lions; and winning multiple ‘Best Short’ awards internationally.   In 2019, CRACKED SCREEN was acquired for permanent preservation in the BFI National Archive as a groundbreaking achievement in British filmmaking.

 

Trim's other work includes his second short ‘BROKEN NEWS’ which premiered at the 63rd BFI London Film Festival in 2019. ​ Trim has also directed drama for the BBC and was commissioned to create the opening film for Saatchi and Saatchi's NDS Showcase in Cannes Lions.

Trim is currently developing his first feature 'NO ANIMALS WERE HARMED' with the BFI. He holds BA and Masters degrees in English Literature from University of Oxford and Royal Holloway, University of London.
