Trim Lamba is a British-Indian writer-director. His first short ‘CRACKED SCREEN’ released in 2017 to multiple prizes and recognition including longlisting for a BIFA for Best British Short; selection for the 27th Saatchi and Saatchi New Directors Showcase in Cannes Lions; and winning multiple ‘Best Short’ awards worldwide. In 2019, Cracked Screen was acquired for permanent preservation in the BFI National Archive as a groundbreaking achievement in British filmmaking. His second short ‘BROKEN NEWS’ premiered at the 63rd BFI London Film Festival in 2019. 

Trim holds BA and Masters degrees in English Literature from University of Oxford and Royal Holloway, University of London. Trim is developing his first feature 'NO ANIMALS WERE HARMED' with the BFI.
